Drift
“I was born to catch dragons in their dens
And pick flowers
To tell tales and laugh aways the morning
To drift and dream like a lazy stream
And walk barefoot across the sunshine days”
There is nothing I love more than a drift dive. I let the current carry me along, no effort is needed. The fishy world carries on around me, busy with their little (or big) lives. I surface with snapshots of colour and texture, of funny faces and squabbles. I surface invigorated and smiling.
Sometimes we need to drift along and give ourselves time to reflect, watch and take notes. Not swim against the current but gently with it. Enjoy those little moments of life around us. Appreciate the beauty of nature’s beasties and the magic of silence.
